We are convinced that cooperation with other partners can be a good addition to our own proposition and that we can jointly help our customers better. In the spring of 2021 we were approached by SVT Fire protection in Germany. Not much later we received an email with a request for acquaintance from Switzerland. The family company AGI AG Gruppe had found our Smart Saving solution after a short research on the internet.

After the first individual introductions, it appeared that SVT and AGI have been working together for years in various areas. It was an easy decision to combine the follow-up conversations from that point. With AGI we can rely on an extensive wealth of knowledge in the field of fire protection and the creation of high-quality fire protection. By combining this with SVT’s material knowledge and experience, we have many of the most extensively tested fire-resistant systems in Europe. With SVT as the material expert, AGI the fire safety expert and Senbased the technology expert, the competences for an winning team are complete.

AGI has developed their software application called AGI BIM Firestop in the past couple of years. Using this specially developed BIM software, they locate all relevant fire seals early in the design proces and so the necessary fire protection requirements are automatically mapped out. This saves time and material costs during the construction.

Based on this platform idea, it was decided to join forces and further realise the shared vision of a more efficient and fire safe built environment.

Because Senbased, with its Smart Fire seal (nl), focuses on gaining insight into and keeping fire-resistant seal intact during the use of the building, this is a complementary addition to also use the AGI BIM Firestop application during the exploitation phase of a building.

This makes the existing application a practical addition to the customer’s current business operations. It will be one final platform in which all information sources come together. Insight, linked to actions and services. In this way, the customer knows exactly what the current compliancy status is and which activities must be carried out in order to comply with fire safety compliance regulations.

Based on this platform idea, it was decided to join forces and further realise the shared vision of a more efficient and fire safe built environment. Being able to automatically monitor the integrity of fire-resistant seals is an important part of demonstrating compliance with regard to the fire safety of a building. This allows a building owner or manager to take more responsibility for complying with safety in buildings. Ultimately, this will ensure that the fire safety of the built environment in Europe will improved with a significant step.
